- Prevalence of Gambling and Problem Gambling Among Older Adults in Manitoba

This study provides baseline information on the extent and nature of problem gambling among older adults in Manitoba, defined as individuals 60 years and older. The objectives of the study were to determine: the extent of gambling and problem gambling; the role of gambling in the older adult's life; protective and risk factors related to problematic levels of gambling; affected issues (impact of other's gambling); attitudes/barriers towards gambling prevention/education and treatment services; and medium for reaching at-risk older adults.
